Our client, a rapidly growing organization in the power and data center infrastructure space, is seeking a Sales Applications Specialist (Technical Sales Representative) to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to transition into a client-facing role, combining technical expertise with sales and solution development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Solution Development
- Design and configure electrical systems including control panels, switchboards, panelboards, ATS, UPS, medium voltage equipment, and transformers
- Develop system layouts and technical proposals with minimal oversight
Value Engineering
- Recommend cost-effective and performance-optimized solutions
- Balance technical requirements with project timelines and budgets
Quoting & Documentation
- Lead quoting for complex and customized projects
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of proposals
Client Engagement
- Act as a technical advisor throughout the sales process
- Review project specs and provide tailored recommendations
- Support client meetings, site visits, and industry events
Project Coordination
- Manage select projects, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Proactively communicate risks and solutions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with engineering, production, and business development teams
- Support new product lines and market expansion efforts
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree or equivalent technical experience
- Strong engineering or technical background required
- 2+ years of sales experience is a plus (not required)
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $120,000-$140,000 Per year (Bonus Eligible)
