6+Construction Manager (Electrical) – San Francisco VA Medical Center

Join a mission-driven team modernizing one of the nation’s leading healthcare facilities for veterans. The Construction Manager (Electrical) will oversee large-scale seismic upgrades, research facility construction, and hospital infrastructure improvements at the San Francisco VA Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all electrical construction activities, including underground power distribution, emergency systems, and lighting.
• Oversee installation of specialized medical and lab systems (MRI, CT, sterilization, etc.).
• Coordinate low-voltage systems (fire alarm, data/telecom, nurse call, access control, HVAC controls).
• Review designs for compliance with VA, federal, and safety standards.
• Conduct field inspections, manage quality control, and support cost/change management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
• 6+ years of electrical construction experience; 5+ years with large or complex healthcare/federal projects preferred.
• Strong technical, coordination, and communication skills.
