Senior Transportation Project Manager

Salary Range: $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 Annually

As a Senior Transportation Project Manager based in San Luis Obispo, CA, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team on meaningful, landmark projects throughout the region. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, support clients and communities in achieving their infrastructure goals, and gain exposure to mentorship, growth opportunities, and a dynamic, engaging workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
• California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer
• Minimum of 10 years of public works design experience, with an emphasis in transportation engineering; or 14 years of equivalent experience
• Ability to develop new business in transportation design
• Familiarity with the Central Coast region is strongly preferred

Position Requires

• Proven experience in all aspects of roadway engineering, including roundabout and interchange design; active transportation experience is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with clients and public agencies
• Familiarity with Caltrans District 5 and Caltrans processes is a plus
• At least 5 years of project management experience

Managerial Experience Will Include

• Supervision of engineering design teams
• Oversight of project schedules and budgets
• Preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work
• Direct interaction with clients and public agencies
