Asset Renewal Project Manager – Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

We are seeking an experienced Asset Renewal Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of infrastructure renewal projects at LAX. This role manages project development from design through construction, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget for multiple capital improvement initiatives replacing end-of-life airport systems such as MEP, utilities, building enclosures, transportation systems, and passenger boarding bridges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the owner’s representative managing design and construction activities for assigned projects.
• Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies.
• Lead coordination between designers, contractors, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Oversee permitting, RFP development, pre-construction planning, and construction execution.
• Ensure compliance with LAWA design and construction standards, policies, and safety requirements.
• Monitor project performance, prepare reports, and manage changes, pay applications, and closeout documentation.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of project management experience on large-scale infrastructure or aviation projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction in active/operational environments.
• Experience with Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (Master’s or PMP/PE preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and familiar with Project Management Information Systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.

Details:

• Full-time, on-site at LAX (Monday–Friday; after-hours/weekends as needed).
