This role is responsible for end-to-end project delivery across design-build and EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) environments. The Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and ensure successful execution of complex, MEP-intensive facilities—delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

This position requires a hands-on leader capable of coordinating engineering, procurement, and field construction efforts while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. Travel and on-site presence at active project locations may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction teams for mission-critical facilities
  • Manage prime contracts, subcontracts, and procurement packages, ensuring alignment with project objectives
  • Drive adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards across all project activities
  • Monitor project performance, including cost, schedule, and risk management, and provide regular reporting
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and high levels of satisfaction
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks and potential disputes proactively
  • Oversee development and implementation of project-specific safety plans, QA/QC programs, and compliance measures
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead value engineering efforts and constructability reviews to optimize project outcomes
  • Coordinate procurement strategy, including bid packaging, scope definition, and vendor/subcontractor alignment
  • Review and approve invoices, progress payments, and cost tracking documentation
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in coordination with engineering and construction teams
  • Track progress across design phases and construction execution to ensure alignment with milestones
  • Manage project financials, including Schedule of Values, forecasting, and cost reporting
  • Oversee project closeout, turnover, and warranty processes
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and cost analysis
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Mentor junior staff and support team development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and operational standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of construction project management experience
  • 3+ years managing large-scale data center or mission-critical projects
  • Demonstrated experience delivering Design-Build / EPC projects, particularly with complex MEP systems (power distribution, cooling systems, redundancy infrastructure)
  • Strong understanding of data center construction, including commissioning and turnover processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project delivery including estimating, scheduling, procurement, contracting, and field execution
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, subcontractors, and project teams simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in project management and scheduling tools; Primavera P6 preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Details
