Marketing Manager

A leading national construction and development firm is seeking a seasoned, self-motivated marketing professional to lead both strategic and hands-on marketing efforts in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial Nashville office. This individual will play a key role in driving business development through proposal leadership, content creation, and visual storytelling.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of strategic marketing experience, ideally within AEC, construction, real estate, or architecture
  • Strong proposal development experience (core focus; B2B marketing)
  • Graphic design proficiency (InDesign required) with ability to produce high-quality visuals and branded materials
  • Strong technical writing/storytelling skills, with emphasis on client-focused narratives and customer success
  • Ability to operate independently, take ownership, and manage priorities with minimal oversight

Responsibilities:

  • Lead marketing strategy and execute pursuit efforts
  • Develop proposals, qualifications, and marketing materials
  • Create graphics and visual storytelling assets
  • Partner closely with leadership and sales teams
  • Support Nashville office business development, including events and committee participation
  • Maintain and update marketing content

Environment & Needs:

  • High-growth, startup-like office (Nashville – fastest growing location)
  • Immediate impact required; minimal ramp-up/training
  • Active pipeline (~$800M across 5 upcoming RFPs)
  • Proposal lifecycle ranges from 3 months to 2 years
  • Roughly one new proposal every other month

Ideal Profile:

  • Construction/AEC background strongly preferred
  • Entrepreneurial, flexible, and hands-on
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a lean team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities

This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
