Asset Renewal Office Engineer – Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
We are seeking an experienced Asset Renewal Office Engineer to support multiple infrastructure renewal projects at LAX. This role oversees administrative processes, documentation, and construction support for projects replacing end-of-life airport assets such as MEP, fire and security systems, utilities, and transportation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project documentation, submittals, RFIs, payment applications, and closeout materials.
- Support construction and program managers in coordination, reporting, and administrative duties.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for compliance with contract requirements.
- Coordinate with airport departments, contractors, and design teams to support project execution.
- Assist with project startup, contractor onboarding, and closeout documentation.
- Manage Area Shutdown Requests (ASRs) and Utility Shutdown Requests (USRs).
Qualifications:

10+ years of experience supporting design and construction projects, ideally within an airport or large public agency environment.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and familiar with Project Management Information Systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Experience with Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build delivery methods preferred.
Details:
- Full-time, on-site at LAX (Monday–Friday; after-hours/weekends as needed).
- Not a remote position.
