RedGreen Partners are pleased to be supporting a well-known Manchester fashion brand in their search for a Learning and Development Lead.


The business, a Manchester success story, owns successful fashion brands alongside retail outlets in the UK and globally.



The L&D Lead is responsible for driving the development and growth of colleagues across the Group, aligning learning initiatives with business needs and strategic goals.


The Role

Reporting into the Head of People and working closely with the People team, managers, and external partners, the role ensures effective, engaging, and future-focused learning experiences that enhance talent and support a positive employee journey—with a particular emphasis on using technology and AI in the workplace.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with managers and People Partners to identify current and future learning needs
  • Conducting training needs analysis and integrating findings into opportunities
  • Designing blended training programmes tailored to business and individual needs
  • Delivering impactful in-house training sessions using a blended approach
  • Overseeing induction programmes and producing engaging learning materials
  • Maximising external funding opportunities (e.g. Apprenticeship Levy)
  • Managing relationships with external training and platform providers
  • Monitoring effectiveness of programmes through feedback and continuous improvement
  • Advising on and developing L&D trends and technologies (e.g. AI) to enhance the employee experience


About You

We’re looking for an enthusiastic L&D professional keen to build and own something with scope for improvement, while continuing to develop themselves. Ability and attitude are key—you’ll be joining a business with a real appetite for an improved L&D offering. You’ll be commercially driven and confident using the latest technology.
