Learning & Development Manager

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum (part time considered) + benefits

Location: Crewe, UK (Onsite with some global travel)

RedGreen Partners are working with a Crewe based business operating in the technology space as they look to attract a Learning & Development Manager to lead innovative programs that drive capability, engagement, and performance across their global business.


About the role

The L&D Manager, whilst operating in a stand-alone capacity, will be joining an established and cohesive People team


In this hands-on role, you’ll manage everything from leadership development and compliance training to digital learning tools and global initiatives. If you love combining strategy with creativity and execution, this is an ideal opportunity for you to:


  • Design and deliver engaging training programmes, workshops, and e-learning modules.
  • Maintain and optimise learning strategies, platforms, and processes to meet business objectives.
  • Implement global L&D initiatives ensuring consistency and scalability.
  • Deliver leadership development programs to strengthen talent pipelines.
  • Manage compliance training and ensure regulatory standards are met.
  • Utilise the apprenticeship levy and other funding schemes, maximising investment in workforce development and skills growth
  • Evaluate learning impact and report on engagement and performance outcomes.
  • Build strong partnerships with vendors, educational institutions, and internal teams.
  • Maximise opportunities through apprenticeship levy and funding schemes.


About you

We’re looking to attract those candidates used to working in a fast paced, commercially driven environment where there has been a real breadth in their L&D experience. A passion and flair for learning & development, and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation are essential in this role. You will be tech savvy with a sound knowledge of LMS platforms and also be happy managing the L&D budget.
