Following a recent acquisition by a global, leading parent company, an experienced Interim HR Director is required for a period of 6 months to support the newly appointed MD and SLT to drive People projects forwards during a new phase of growth and change.
Role purpose:
- Reporting into the Group CPO, you will lead and drive critical People & Culture change programmes, ensuring visible progress and positive impact across the UKI organisation.
- Oversee the roll‑out of organisational design changes, supporting and equipping leaders to navigate ambiguity and lead through change.
- Deliver core people processes including the annual salary review, engagement action planning and implementation and talent/goal‑setting cycles.
- Strengthen leadership and HR capability through coaching, facilitated strategy sessions and enabling the HR team to operate at its best.
- Improve cross-team collaboration and enhance People & Culture MI to support better decision-making and commercial insight.
- Champion creative, resourceful solutions that maximise impact despite tight budgets.
Experience Required
- Proven track record operating at senior People & Culture/HR Director level, leading complex change and OD programmes in a high‑skill environment.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance pragmatism, pace and limited budgets.
- Experienced in designing and implementing new structures, processes and ways of working within global, matrix organisations, reporting into a Group HRD or CPO.
- Confident using data to diagnose issues, set priorities and measure impact.
- Excellent programme and project management capability, including oversight of multi‑stream people initiatives.
- Understanding of billable environments, productisation and utilisation drivers.
This role has an immediate start and the salary on offer is up to £110,000 plus benefits. You will be expected to travel to their North West Headquarters c 1 day per week and travel to other sites in the UK & Ireland will be expected.
