Logistics & Compliance Trainer


Based: Worcester with some national travel


Drive safety, compliance and performance across a national logistics network.

Our client is a UK logistics provider investing in operational training to keep people safe, compliant and high‑performing. As the Logistics & Compliance Trainer, you’ll deliver impactful training and on‑the‑job coaching across multiple sites, combining hands‑on instruction with smart, blended learning.


What you’ll do

  • Design and deliver high‑quality training for drivers, MHE and yard operations aligned to SSOW, H&S and transport regulations.
  • Lead Class 1 & 2 driver assessments, RTITB‑accredited MHE courses and Yard Shunter training to consistent national standards.
  • Coach colleagues and third parties on the job, using feedback, observation and data to lift safety, quality and productivity.
  • Partner with site and transport leaders to identify skills gaps, support new process rollouts and evaluate training impact.


What you’ll bring

  • Accredited instructor qualification (e.g. RTITB/ITSSAR) with recent experience delivering accredited training in logistics, transport or supply chain settings.
  • Experience in MHE training & assessments OR Class 1 (C+E) driver assessments and/or yard & vehicle movement training.
  • Strong working knowledge of Safe Systems of Work, risk assessment and Health & Safety best practice.
  • Excellent communicator and coach, able to influence stakeholders and support learners at all levels.
  • Full UK driving licence (min Category C); C+E would be desirable.
  • Ability to travel to multiple UK sites
  • Both MHE and Class 1 experience would be beneficial.
