Position:           Live-out Housekeeper

Location:          Greenwich, CT and West Village, NYC

Schedule:          Saturday – Wednesday, 10am – 6pm or 11am – 7pm with flexibility as needed

Salary:              $45 – 47/hour plus benefits, paid vacation and sick time, and annual bonus

Private family seeks an experienced Housekeeper to work in their Greenwich, CT and NYC (West Village) properties. The position is a Full-time, Live-out position that requires flexibility to work at both residences as needed. Ideal candidate should be extremely detail oriented, have strong knowledge of laundry services in addition to primary housekeeping duties, and a proactive attitude towards keeping the home in pristine order. Strong communication and organizational skills are a MUST; the ability to work well independently as well as in conjunction with a team is essential to the seamless organization of the residence and ensuring all delegated tasks are completed.

Duties:

·      All aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning of residence

·      Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (antiques, crystal, china, silver, brass, stone, marble, fabric/upholstery, artwork, and other specialty surfaces) 

·      Washing, ironing, steaming and folding linens, towels and clothing; managing items sent out for professional care

·      Assisting with packing and unpacking for moving and travel; wardrobe maintenance and organization

·      Management and organization of all closets, pantries, and storage areas

·      Willingness to run routine errands such as doing laundry, dry cleaner, groceries, etc.

·      Grocery shopping for the family and residence; ensuring proper groceries are in stock at all times

·      Providing pet care to the family’s dog: walking, feeding, and administering medicine when needed
