Position:           Part-time Housekeeper/Cook

Schedule:          2 or 3 days per week (8:30am – 4:30pm or 9am – 5pm)

Location:          Wilton, CT

Salary:              $40 – 45/hour based on experience

Overview:

Active couple is looking for a Part-time Housekeeper/Cook to help maintain their home in Wilton, CT. The candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to take on a variety of responsibilities. Needs to be a self-starter with cleaning and laundry experience, ability/willingness to manage cooking (including grocery shopping and preparation - but not serving), errands, and overall household organization.

Responsibilities:

• Laundry: Sorting, washing, folding and ironing clothes and linens (sheets and towels); strip and remake beds.
• Cooking: From recipes provided by the couple, grocery shop and prepare meals (lunches and dinners)
• Errands: Assist with local errands as needed (primarily dry cleaning).
• Misc. Household Tasks: Help with overall household organization and caring for indoor plants
• Dog Care (Sherpa is 16-year-old Cockapoo):
• Weekly bathing/teeth cleaning of Sherpa
• Ability to dog sit (either at the couple’s home or own home when couple is away.
• Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, loading and unloading dishwasher, trash removal

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in housekeeping
• Excellent, stable work history and references
• Must have own car for transportation
• Dog friendly
