Position: Part-Time Live-Out Cook, Light Housekeeper, Companion – Manhattan

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10 AM - 7 PM (24 hours weekly with flexibility)

Salary: $45 per hour with monthly health insurance stipend, one week paid vacation

Position Overview

• A refined, mature couple residing at their Park Avenue apartment in Manhattan, NY, is seeking a polished and experienced Companion/Cook with light housekeeping duties.
• This is a more formal role, ideal for a grounded individual who brings a calm presence, prioritizes safety, and understands the importance of preserving the principals’ independence with empathy and discretion.
• Light housekeeping support 

Responsibilities:

• Cooking: Preparing an Informal breakfast at 10 AM – egg, toast, black tea, and coffee. Prepare set and serve lunch (1 -2 PM and dinner (7 – 8 PM), Chicken to Fish, light veggies (breaks throughout the day)
• Companionship: Provide compassionate companionship and physical support to Mrs., who at times may be unsteady on her feet, helping to ensure her safety and comfort while moving or during daily activities.
• Light Housekeeping duties, including laundry

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in similar roles is preferred.
• Must speak clear English.
• Good basic technology skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record a plus
• Service-minded with sensitivity to clients' boundaries
• Proven ability to provide a safe environment while demonstrating compassionate understanding, preserving independence, and upholding dignity.
