Position:            Full-time Nanny

Schedule:          Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 9:30pm

Location:           Greenwich, CT

Salary:               $80,000 – $90,000 DOE, plus benefits, vacation and annual bonus

A private family in Greenwich, CT seeks a full-time, career Nanny to support their household and care for their two daughters, ages 11 and 14. This role is primarily focused on daily school pickups and transporting the girls to and from school, after-school activities, playdates, and home.

The family is looking for someone who is not only dependable and experienced, but also a positive role model and mature influence in their daughters’ lives. The ideal candidate will be warm, patient, and nurturing, while also maintaining a professional, energetic, and proactive approach. Someone who is fully engaged, encourages responsibility, and supports the girls’ growth will thrive in this position.

The right person will actively connect with the girls — whether helping with homework, cheering them on at activities, or keeping them focused during practice — and will make the children their priority throughout the workday. During quieter times, such as sports practice, the nanny is expected to remain attentive by offering water, keeping an eye on their progress, and ensuring they stay on task.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Safely handling daily school pickups and driving the children to and from school, after-school activities, playdates, and home.
• Providing reliable, engaged supervision and ensuring a nurturing, positive, and age-appropriate environment.
• Serving as a mature, positive role model, and maintaining an atmosphere free from negative influences.
• Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Oversee daily routines such as sports practices, assisting with homework and assignments as needed.
• Responsible for keeping the vehicle provided clean and tidy on a daily basis, arranging for washes as needed.
• Maintain tidiness related to children’s activities, meals, and play.
• Communicate and coordinate regularly with Mom regarding schedules and activities.
• Serve as a backup for younger sons' nanny during her days off, etc.
• Serve as a backup for family travel (domestic or international) if the younger son’s nanny is unable to accompany the family.

Requirements:

• Excellent references required from current and previous employers.
• Minimum 3 years’ related experience working for private families with multiple children.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ideally CPR & First Aid certified.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Warm, caring, trustworthy, and reliable; must genuinely love working with children.
• Ability to work closely with a stay-at-home mom and coordinate children’s schedules.
• Organized, adaptable, and able to multitask seamlessly, even with last-minute changes.
• Polished, professional, and positive demeanor.
• Valid passport with flexibility to travel with family as needed, domestically and internationally.
