LIVE IN Personal Assistant / Light Cooking / Companion

Multi Residence

Schedule: Monday through Sunday with flexibility.

Two days off per week. Two weeks paid vacation. Paid holidays Rotating Christmas and Thanksgiving

Salary: 145-155k Plus Healthcare stipend

The Family A returning client has asked us to find the right person for their mother. This is a wonderful and tight knit family who are considerate, friendly, and deeply devoted to their mother’s wellbeing. They are kind, respectful, involved, and collaborative.

They are seeking someone who will become a steady, positive presence in their mother’s life and who appreciates being part of a thoughtful family system. The right person understands how to provide structure without making someone feel managed.

This is a hybrid role combining personal assistant, daily cooking, and companionship. The relational requires great judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence. 

The family’s goal is to preserve her independence while enhancing her quality of life in a natural and respectful way.

About the Principal:  She is witty, worldly, and engaging. She enjoys conversation, social interaction, and being around active and interesting people. She values independence and prefers gentle support rather than direction. She can be the life of the party and appreciates someone who can initiate engagement naturally and with ease.

Professional Qualifications

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in high level private households, long term stability and discretion in multi residence environments.

·      High EQ, a degree of maturity, judgment, and life experience.

·      Valid driver’s license

·      Strong written and spoken English

·      Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with family members

·      Experience in high level private homes

·      Comfortable cooking daily meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner

·      Able to provide strong professional references

The Role Includes:

·      Preparing three meals daily and snacks

·      Kitchen organization and cleanup

·      Calendar management and reminders

·      Scheduling social engagements and church

·      Initiating outings and encouraging activity

·      Driving and accompaniment to events

·      Packing and unpacking between seasonal residences

·      Coordinating with vendors

·      Providing weekly updates to the family via text, email, and phone

·      Dog care. Must love dogs. Small dog feeding, walking, vet and grooming visits.

Seasonal Locations:

·      Jupiter, Florida – January to mid April

·      Pittsburgh – May and June

·      Lake Placid – July to September

·      Pittsburgh – October through December

Lake Placid includes family gatherings where flexibility and a team mindset are important. Separate and or private accommodations are provided at each location.
