Position: Private Chef (Live-In or Live-Out)

Schedule: (Live Out) Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM

                 (Live In)   Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 8 AM, 11 AM - 1 PM, 7 PM - 9:30 PM

Location: Greenwich, CT. Accommodations for live-in: Private bedroom and bathroom. In the main house, but very private.

Salary: Commensurate with experience/Health insurance stipend

Seeking a warm, attentive, and skilled Private Chef for a Greenwich family of three and a dog. The ideal candidate will be discreet and detail-oriented. The focus is on providing quality meals and thoughtful support for a busy family, with particular attention to food allergies (excluding shellfish and sesame) and a late dinner schedule to accommodate the daughter’s competitive tennis training. You will work alongside the current housekeeper and report directly to the principal. The role centers on allergy-conscious meal preparation, light household assistance, and maintaining a calm and organized environment. Skills and Responsibilities

• (If living out) Prepare lunch and dinner daily; leave two dinners for weekend reheating
• (If living in) Occasional light breakfast and Lunch prep for school-aged daughter (salads, pastas, etc.) plus dinner.
• Comfortable with diverse proteins: chicken, beef, lamb, fish
• Modern American/French/Italian, avoiding shellfish and sesame
• Food shopping and menu preparation
• Light entertaining support
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, keeping track of inventory
• Collaborate with the existing housekeeper as needed

Requirements

• Live within a 30-minute commute to Greenwich
• Professionally trained chef/completed a culinary program
• Restaurant work experience as well as long-term stable tenure with current or prior private client/s
• 5+ years’ experience 
• Dog friendly
• Excellent references
• Valid driver’s license
• Non-smoker and no perfume
• Good English fluency
