Position:          Live-out Family Assistant

Schedule:          Monday – Friday (3 – 8pm) with flexibility to help additional hours and on weekends as needed

Location:           Riverside, CT

Salary:          $35-40/hour

Overview:

Active family of five in Riverside, CT is seeking a bright, seasoned, and energetic live-out Family Assistant to help manage their household and assist with their three children (ages 8, 10 & 13). Candidates must be reliable, organized, have previous residential experience, and have a safe driving record.

Seeking someone adaptable, flexible, and proactive with a positive "can-do" attitude.

Duties:

·      Safely and responsibly drive children as needed, including school pickups, activities, doctor’s appointments, etc.

·      Grocery shopping and miscellaneous child-related errands

·      Light housekeeping and laundry

·      Prepare snacks and dinner for the children as needed (simple, family-style cooking)

Character:

·      Friendly, happy, intelligent, trustworthy, and proactive

·      Energetic and a self-starter

·      Flexible, ability to adjust to and accommodate changing circumstances

Requirements:

·      Excellent English and communication skills (both written and verbal)

·      Driver’s license and excellent driving record

·      Ability to help with occasional overnight stays as needed would be appreciated (but not a must)

·      Non-smoker
