Schedule:                   Full-time, Monday - Friday

                                    9 am – 5 pm (40 hrs. a week)

Salary:                        40-45/hr. Based on Experience, plus Health Insurance, 401K

Staff: Full Time.  Housekeeper/ Cook

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper/Cook to join our household in New York City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized home environment and preparing delicious, nutritious meals for the household members.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping:

·      Clean and maintain all areas of the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and other common spaces.

·      Perform regular deep cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing furniture.

·      Manage laundry duties: ironing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.

·      Ensure that household supplies are stocked and notify the Household Manager/Employer when items need to be replenished.

Cooking:

·      Prepare and cook meals according to the dietary preferences and requirements of the household members.

·      Plan weekly menus and shop for groceries and kitchen supplies.

·      Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage and inventory of food items.

·      Prepare meals for special occasions, events, and gatherings as needed.

Other Duties:

·      Assist with other household tasks and errands as requested by the Household Manager/Employer.

·      Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the home.

·      Adhere to all household protocols and maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.

·      Full care of dog – feeding, walking, bathing, groomer and vet appointments

·      Coordinate with contractors, repair persons, building super and workers

Qualifications:

·      Proven experience as a housekeeper and cook in a private household or similar setting.

·      Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of meals

·      Excellent organizational and time management skills.

·      Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·      Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

·      Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

·      Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
