Schedule: Live‑out, Full-time, Monday–Friday

Hours: 8 am – 4 pm or 9 am – 5 pm (40 hrs/week)

Salary: Hourly Rate $45.00 + Health Insurance Stipend

Household: Two adults

Overview

A refined Upper East Side couple is seeking an experienced Housekeeper for their multi-level townhouse. The ideal candidate is smart, capable, physically fit, and comfortable navigating many stairs throughout the day. This role requires strong housekeeping and laundry skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to interact professionally with vendors. The home is calm and informal, but expectations for quality, consistency, and discretion are high.

Job Requirements

Full‑service housekeeping, including but not limited to:

• Daily cleaning and scheduled deep cleaning of all rooms across multiple floors
• Careful cleaning of staircases, high‑traffic areas, and delicate finishes
• Dusting all surfaces, furniture, blinds, window ledges, trim, and woodwork
• Laundry: washing, folding, ironing, and wardrobe organization
• Bed making and linen care
• Maintaining an organized, tidy, and well‑run home
• Receiving and coordinating vendors or maintenance professionals
• Light errands within the neighborhood (dry cleaning, small household needs)

• Strong communicator with good judgment
• Able to work independently with minimal direction
• Open to feedback and adaptable to changing needs
• Physically fit and comfortable with frequent stair use

Requirements

• 5+ years of private home housekeeping experience
• Excellent, stable work history with strong references
• Legal to work in the U.S.
• Good English fluency
• Comfortable interacting with vendors
• Physically able to manage a multi-story townhouse
