Senior Front of House Leader

Position Overview

The Senior Front of House Leader is a key culture carrier and operational leader responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while upholding the brand’s non-negotiable standards. This role serves as a senior presence on the floor, leading service execution, developing front-of-house talent, and ensuring consistency across hospitality, pacing, and professionalism. The Senior FOH Leader is expected to lead by example at all times and act as a direct extension of the management team.


Key Responsibilities

The Senior Front of House Leader oversees day-to-day service execution, ensuring that every guest interaction reflects the values, service philosophy, and quality standards of the brand. This role actively leads shifts, manages floor flow, supports reservations and seating strategy, and resolves guest concerns with confidence and care. The Senior FOH Leader is accountable for maintaining strong communication between the front-of-house, kitchen, and leadership teams to ensure seamless service.


In addition to service leadership, this role plays a critical part in coaching, mentoring, and developing FOH team members. The Senior FOH Leader supports onboarding, training, and ongoing performance feedback for hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff. They help reinforce service steps, beverage knowledge, and brand standards, while contributing to a positive, high-performance culture built on accountability and teamwork.


Operational & Leadership Expectations

  • Lead by example during peak and non-peak service periods
  • Uphold and enforce service standards and non-negotiables
  • Support scheduling, shift readiness, and floor planning
  • Actively manage guest experience, recovery, and loyalty
  • Coach and develop FOH team members through real-time feedback
  • Maintain professionalism, composure, and strong decision-making under pressure
  • Collaborate closely with culinary and management teams


Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of progressive front-of-house leadership experience in a high-volume, premium-casual or upscale dining environment
  • Strong knowledge of service execution, beverage programs, and guest experience standards
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage the floor, and handle guest recovery effectively
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
