Assistant General Manager:


The Assistant General Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations. The AGM helps drive the overall business—ensuring strong financial performance, consistent execution, and a culture that reflects the brand’s values. This position is responsible for leading teams, strengthening systems, and helping deliver an exceptional guest experience every day.


The AGM oversees daily operations across all dayparts, assists with hiring and training, and supports managerial development within the restaurant. They help manage labor, inventory, scheduling, and operational planning to ensure the location is efficient, profitable, and fully aligned with company standards. The AGM acts as a second-in-command and steps into full GM responsibility when needed.


A strong emphasis is placed on coaching, accountability, and building a positive, high-performing team environment. The AGM leads by example, ensures service standards are consistently met, and supports resolving guest concerns with professionalism. This role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to multitask across multiple priorities.


The AGM partners closely with the GM and Regional Leadership to drive key initiatives, improve operational systems, and identify opportunities for growth. They are instrumental in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant workplace while supporting sales-building efforts, community engagement, and team retention.
