Position: Marketing & Communications Manager
The Opportunity
A high-growth clean energy company is looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead both its external marketing efforts and internal communications, including direct responsibility for investor relations. This is a pivotal role that blends digital execution with strategic storytelling and stakeholder engagement.
We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic marketer who can take full ownership of the brand’s digital presence, drive inbound lead generation, and help maintain strong, transparent relationships with franchise partners, internal teams, and investors.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Digital Execution
- Manage the company website, ensuring up-to-date, high-impact content and strong SEO performance
- Create and execute digital marketing strategies across social media, email, and other channels
- Build and maintain a content calendar with blogs, case studies, newsletters, and thought leadership
- Track campaign performance and optimize for lead conversion (e.g., landing pages, analytics, A/B testing)
Branding & Content Creation
- Develop brand-aligned content (visuals, graphics, video, and written assets) for multiple audiences
- Maintain visual consistency and tone across all channels and internal/external materials
- Coordinate with designers, freelancers, or agency partners where needed
Investor Relations & Internal Communications
- Prepare and manage all investor-facing communications, including email updates, decks, reports, and announcements
- Support the CEO with board materials, fundraising collateral, and key performance summaries
- Develop internal communications for franchisees, staff, and stakeholders to ensure message alignment and transparency
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 4–8 years of experience in marketing, communications, or investor relations
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and lead generation best practices
- Confident communicator and copywriter with strong visual storytelling instincts
- Experience creating and managing investor updates, presentations, and executive communications
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Nice to Have
- Background in solar, clean tech, franchising, or emerging sectors
- Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, WordPress, and Canva/Adobe Suite
- Video and multimedia content creation experience
