Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Glazier / Window & Door Installer to join their growing team in Calgary or Kelowna. The successful candidate will install premium windows, doors, glass systems, and related products while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial windows and doors
- Install sealed units, glass panels, patio doors, entry doors, and specialty window systems
- Measure, fit, level, and secure products to manufacturer specifications
- Perform glazing, caulking, sealing, weatherproofing, and finishing work
- Remove and replace existing windows and doors safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and installation specifications
- Troubleshoot installation challenges in the field
- Ensure projects meet quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Provide exceptional customer service while working in occupied homes and commercial buildings
Qualifications
- 3+ years of glazing or window and door installation experience
- Can speak and understand Ukrainian at a proficient level
- Experience installing vinyl, aluminum, or European-style window systems preferred
- Knowledge of residential renovation and/or new construction
- Ability to accurately measure and install products
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting heavy glass and window units
- Valid driver's licence with reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
- Journeyman Glazier or Glazier Apprentice
- Experience with REHAU, European window systems, or premium window products
- Curtain wall, storefront, or commercial glazing experience
- Interior and exterior finishing experience
- Forklift, boom lift, or fall protection certifications (asset)
