Hospitality General Manager, Whistler, BC
Full-Time | Leadership Opportunity
We are looking to speak with an experienced and dynamic Hospitality General Manager to lead operations for a high-volume hospitality property in Whistler, BC. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations, guest experience, team leadership, financial performance, and strategic growth initiatives within a fast-paced resort environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day operations across hospitality departments including guest services, food & beverage, events, housekeeping, and facilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and operational teams
- Drive exceptional guest experiences while maintaining luxury hospitality standards
- Manage operational budgets, forecasting, payroll, and financial performance targets
- Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to improve revenue, efficiency, and guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, licensing, and operational regulations
- Collaborate with ownership and senior leadership on long-term operational strategy and growth
- Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and performance management initiatives
- Build strong relationships within the local tourism and hospitality community
- Maintain operational excellence during peak seasonal periods
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a senior hospitality leadership role (General Manager, Director of Operations, Resort Manager, or similar)
- Strong background within hotels, resorts, restaurants, private clubs, or luxury hospitality environments
- Proven experience managing large teams and multi-department operations
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight
- Demonstrated ability to lead in fast-paced, guest-focused environments
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with hospitality systems, scheduling platforms, and operational reporting
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and peak holiday periods as required
- Willingness to relocate to Whistler or surrounding area required
Preferred Experience
- Resort or mountain destination experience considered a strong asset
- Multi-unit hospitality leadership experience
- Experience leading teams of 30+ employees
- Strong understanding of premium guest service standards and luxury operations
