Sales Consultant – Women’s Health Division

£52,000–£60,000 + Commission (£20k + uncapped) | £750/month car allowance | Additional benefits
A leading UK medical device organisation is seeking an experienced and clinically credible Sales Consultant to support the continued growth of its specialist Women’s Health Division. This role offers the opportunity to represent a respected clinical portfolio used widely across NHS and private healthcare settings, with a strong pipeline of product extensions launching over the next six months.
This is a commercially focused position blending business development, clinical sales, account management and clinical education. You will work across acute and private sector environments, developing strategic relationships, driving sales performance and supporting healthcare professionals in delivering improved patient outcomes.
Role Responsibilities
Commercial Development
- Deliver and execute territory business plans to achieve growth targets.
- Identify, profile and prioritise key stakeholders across NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers.
- Drive conversion opportunities and secure new business within secondary care.
- Promote clinical and economic value propositions to decision-makers and end users.
- Grow existing accounts while identifying new opportunities for expansion.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends and tender opportunities.
Account Management
- Build strong, long‑term relationships with clinical and procurement stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with procurement teams and procedural specialists.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
Clinical Education & Training
- Deliver product training and education programmes to clinical teams.
- Provide ongoing clinical support to end users across relevant procedural areas.
- Maintain clinical competency and stay current with best practice.
- Support safe and effective product adoption to optimise patient outcomes.
Key Opinion Leader Development
- Identify and engage Key Opinion Leaders within women’s health.
- Support workshops, educational initiatives and clinical meetings.
- Gather market insights and customer feedback to inform strategy.
- Work closely with UK colleagues to share intelligence and support divisional growth.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, activity reporting and market updates.
- Represent the division at exhibitions, conferences and study days.
Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
- Clinical background (nursing or allied health).
- Proven medical device sales experience within NHS secondary care and private healthcare.
- Strong territory management and business development capability.
- Experience delivering clinical training and education.
- Skilled in managing complex clinical accounts and stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within women’s health.
- Understanding of NHS procurement processes and tender frameworks.
- Experience working with procurement teams.
