Workforce Genetics is seeking an Associate Scientist to work with an exciting new company that is at the forefront of laboratory testing technology.   


The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for processing biological materials and chemical reagents to ensure all products meet technical specifications through Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures.


This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and adherence to laboratory best practices.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for processing biologics.
  • Support manufacturing activities that include biological (wet lab techniques) and non-biological processes (packaging, labeling).
  • Quality Control testing to verify product specifications and performance.
  • Routine laboratory tasks, including sample preparation, buffer preparation, and equipment maintenance.
  • Document experimental procedures and results in laboratory records.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to reagent and antibody production.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, including laboratory notebooks, SOPs, Work Instructions, QA/QC, and batch records.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Prior laboratory experience, particularly in protein chemistry and cell biology
  • Familiarity with standard BSL-2 wet laboratory techniques.
  • Prior experience with equipment such as pH meters analytical balance, serological and volumetric pipettes, and centrifuges.
  • Understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines
  • Experience with QA/QC practices in a laboratory setting
