Overview

A well-known consumer technology company is seeking a senior contract copywriter to support a high-impact marketing workstream tied to a core customer offering.

This writer will partner closely with a marketing team responsible for driving engagement and adoption of a key product experience. The role will focus on ongoing campaigns, experimentation initiatives, and product-related messaging across multiple digital touchpoints.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve quickly and briefs may be loosely defined. You should be able to take complex or ambiguous inputs and translate them into clear, compelling customer-facing messaging.

This role requires both creative thinking and operational agility. You will collaborate closely with marketing and product partners, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and deliver high-quality work on tight timelines.


What You’ll Do

• Develop customer-facing copy across digital channels including lifecycle marketing, landing pages, paid media, and in-product communications

• Translate complex product features, promotional concepts, and marketing initiatives into clear and engaging messaging

• Support experimentation efforts and iterative testing across marketing channels

• Balance planned campaign work with quick-turn requests and evolving priorities

• Maintain a clear, conversational brand voice across formats and surfaces

• Contribute thoughtful messaging solutions even when briefs are incomplete or evolving

• Collaborate with marketing, product, and cross-functional stakeholders

• Ensure messaging aligns with brand standards and necessary compliance requirements


Experience

• 5–8+ years of professional copywriting experience

• Experience writing for digital marketing channels such as email, lifecycle campaigns, landing pages, and paid media

• Background working with consumer technology companies, digital platforms, or high-growth brands

• Experience supporting marketing initiatives that involve promotional or offer-driven messaging

Skill Set

• Strong command of brand voice and tone

• Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, customer-friendly messaging

• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities

• Strong balance of strategic thinking and rapid execution

• Detail-oriented when working with promotional or regulated messaging

• Confident collaborator who can work directly with cross-functional partners


Working Environment

This role sits within a team that operates at a high pace and frequently runs marketing experiments. The ideal candidate is comfortable:

• Working with evolving or partially defined briefs

• Managing multiple initiatives at once

• Navigating feedback from multiple stakeholders

• Switching between longer-term campaign planning and rapid-turn deliverables


Must-Haves

• Senior-level copywriting experience across digital channels

• Demonstrated experience writing performance or conversion-focused marketing copy

• Ability to operate in fast-paced and ambiguous environments

• Strong stakeholder communication skills

• Availability for a full-time contract engagement (40 hours/week)



Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working with membership, loyalty, or subscription-style offerings

• Familiarity with experimentation or A/B testing programs
