UI / Motion Designer (Contract)
Part-Time Contract | Onsite Collaboration Required | 6-Month Engagement
We are looking for a UI / Motion Designer to support a team working on visualizing complex software systems for marketing and storytelling purposes. This role sits at the intersection of product interface design, brand storytelling, and motion graphics, helping translate technical workflows into clear, engaging visual experiences.
This is a part-time contract role (approximately 2–3 days per week) supporting a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, and marketers.
What You’ll Do
- Interpret and recreate complex software interfaces to support marketing and product storytelling
- Design realistic UI environments that accurately represent how a product functions
- Build visual assets that allow teams to simulate workflows, product states, and system interactions
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to understand system functionality and translate it into visual design
- Work with motion designers to ensure UI assets can be effectively animated for product demonstrations and video content
- Contribute to the creation of a flexible design toolkit that can be reused across future content and campaigns
What You’ll Build
- A scalable UI toolkit representing multiple interface states and workflows
- Visual environments such as terrain maps, dashboards, and system interfaces
- A comprehensive asset library that supports motion graphics and product marketing initiatives
- Design components that allow teams to demonstrate product functionality without relying on live software recordings
What We’re Looking For

Strong UI design experience, particularly with complex or technical software environments
- Motion design skills and an understanding of how interface elements translate into animation

Background in product, brand, or digital design
- Ability to quickly understand complex systems and translate them into clear visual representations
- Strong collaboration skills when working with engineers, product teams, and marketers

Proficiency in tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
