About our client
Our client's mission is to increase mental health accessibility enabling people to change their lives in the ways they want. They're a well funded, venture backed company building the first AI designed for mental health.
Mental health is the fastest-growing category on social media and we're building the product at the center of it. We're looking for a creator ecosystem builder to help us connect with the voices shaping this conversation. We're growing fast, building toward a major cultural campaign, and we need someone who can own our creator strategy from zero to one.
This isn't traditional influencer marketing. We're not looking for celebrity endorsements or vanity metrics. We want someone who understands the real conversations happening on TikTok and Instagram right now — burnout, identity, relationships, career anxiety, political stress — and knows how to find the creators authentically speaking to those moments.
This role has a direct line to leadership and real ownership over an emerging growth channel. Contractors who crush it here have a path to a full-time seat on the team.
What you'll own
- Sourcing & scouting — Identify emerging and established creators across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, podcasts, newsletters, and wherever culture is moving
- Partnerships end-to-end — Outreach, negotiation, contracts, campaign execution, and relationship management
- Learning engine — Track performance, identify what resonates, and feed insights back into our broader campaign strategy
- Systems & infrastructure — Build the databases, workflows, and processes that make creator partnerships a repeatable growth engine
Who you are
- You've built a creator or influencer program from scratch — not just managed one
- You have a sharp instinct for cultural trends and know which creators are driving real conversation, not just impressions
- You're a strong operator — organized, communicative, and able to juggle multiple creator relationships without dropping the ball
- You're analytical — you measure what works and use data to make smarter bets
- You thrive in ambiguity and bring startup energy — high agency, self-directed, and hungry to build something real
Nice to have
- Background in consumer apps, wellness, media, or the creator economy
- Existing creator relationships are a serious plus
Why the work matters
Mental health is having its cultural moment. The right creators don't just drive downloads — they shift how people think about getting support. You'll help define how a new mental health brand shows up in the world, and build the relationships that make ideas spread.
