Summary: The Senior Manager of E-Commerce will be responsible for driving day-to-day performance and growth of Hello Bello’s DTC business across site experience, merchandising, performance marketing, SEO, and CRM. This role partners closely with the VP of Marketing and cross-functional teams to execute strategy, optimize performance, and improve conversion, retention, and subscriber health.

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, hands-on operator with strong Shopify experience who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This role blends execution with strategic thinking and requires someone who can turn data into action while owning key levers of DTC performance.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Own execution and performance management of key DTC growth levers including conversion rate, AOV, subscription growth, and retention.
  • Monitor and report on DTC performance metrics (conversion rate, CAC, ROAS, churn, LTV, etc.), surfacing insights and recommendations.
  • Manage day-to-day site operations and merchandising across Shopify Plus, including product setup, pricing, promotions, launches, and testing.
  • Partner with Performance Marketing and agency teams to support paid media execution, testing plans, and on-site conversion optimization.
  • Own CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy and partner with agency teams on execution (email/SMS), including campaign planning, flows, segmentation, and testing to drive subscriber health and LTV.
  • Support SEO and content strategy execution to maintain and grow organic visibility across core categories.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Analytics teams to support forecasting, reporting, and budget pacing.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Product, and Operations teams to deliver a seamless consumer experience from acquisition through fulfillment.
  • Lead testing and optimization efforts across the site and lifecycle (A/B testing, CRO initiatives, promotional mechanics).
  • Stay current on DTC and e-commerce best practices, platform updates, and emerging tools to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Support strategic planning and special projects as needed, including new product launches, promotional events, and retention initiatives.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • May manage junior team members or contractors.
  • Works closely with external agency partners across media, SEO, and CRM, supporting execution and performance tracking.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of e-commerce and digital marketing experience, ideally within a CPG or consumer brand. 
  • Hands-on experience managing a Shopify or Shopify Plus storefront.
  • Experience executing CRM programs using tools such as Klaviyo and ReCharge.
  • Strong understanding of DTC acquisition, conversion optimization, and retention mechanics.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Highly data-driven with strong working knowledge of analytics tools (GA4, Triple Whale, Looker, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Clear communicator and collaborative partner across cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically.
  • Self-starter with a test-and-learn mindset and bias toward execution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and modern e-commerce platforms.
