About the Role
Lifelines is seeking a Creative Operations Manager to support and scale its growing creative function. This is a hybrid role combining creative operations, project management, and light hands-on creative support. You will work closely with Creative leadership to manage both an internal design team and a large network of freelance artists, streamline workflows, and ensure the seamless execution of creative projects. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate a global network of 60+ freelance artists
- Partner closely with and support the internal design team on day-to-day workflow and project execution
- Oversee contract creation, execution, and tracking for all creative contributors
- Own invoicing workflows and partner with finance on accounts payable processes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for artist communication and coordination
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and priorities across multiple workstreams
- Provide light hands-on creative support as needed (e.g., resizing assets, updating templates, organizing files)
- Support the development and implementation of scalable creative processes and systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficient execution of creative initiatives
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in Creative Operations, Project Management, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience managing external vendors, freelancers, or creative talent preferred
- Familiarity with contracts, invoicing, and operational workflows
- Basic design skills or a willingness to learn and contribute hands-on (e.g., resizing images, working within templates, light production support)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset
