We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Specialist to help bring the Creative People brand to life across our social channels (Instagram and LinkedIn). In-office: Hybrid, at least 1 day per week (required) in Williamsburg

Rate: $40/hr

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Director of Brand + Growth Marketing, you’ll work closely together to bring ideas to life while collaborating with recruiters and internal subject-matter experts across Creative People.

  • Design polished graphics and carousels using Canva, Figma, or similar tools
  • Film social content, interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments
  • Turn events, placements, open roles, and company updates into compelling social content
  • Collaborate on brainstorming and developing original content ideas
  • Write clear, conversational social copy that reflects the Creative People voice
  • Stay tapped into industry conversations, cultural moments, and social trends across marketing, design, branding, hiring, and careers
  • Occasionally appear on camera on behalf of Creative People
  • Capture photo and video content at select events and activations
  • Help manage the content calendar and move projects from concept through publishing
  • Review content performance and use insights to shape future ideas

Weekly Deliverables (Example)

  • 2 short-form videos/week (edited + exported + ready to post)
  • 3-4 LinkedIn posts/week (text + creative asset support as needed)
  • 1–2 IG assets/week (stories, carousels, or graphics)
  • 1 weekly content planning sync + monthly performance recap

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong fluency across IG and LinkedIn
  • Strong editing skills in CapCut + proficiency in Canva
  • Strong creative instincts: hooks, pacing, trend adaptation, storytelling.
  • Reliable, proactive communicator who can manage deadlines and move fast.
  • Comfortable working in-office at least 1 day/week and collaborating closely with a small team.

Why work here?

You’ll be part of a small team that’s fun, collaborative, and high-standard, and you’ll get direct mentorship. We’ll work side-by-side on in-office days to film, edit, and ship content quickly.

Why you’ll love it:

  • A true creative playground: your ideas won’t get buried. If it’s good, we’ll try it!
  • Fast feedback loops: we move quickly, test often, and don’t overcomplicate
  • Fun team energy: we like each other, we collaborate, and we build together
  • Portfolio-worthy work: you’ll ship a lot across IG and LinkedIn
