About the Opportunity

A fast-growing gaming and entertainment company is hiring a Lead Brand Designer to help build one of the most distinctive brands in the category. This is a senior, hands-on, craft-first role partnering with the Executive Creative Director to push the brand forward across marketing, content, partnerships, campaigns and product. Best suited for a designer who can build a visual system one day and concept a campaign, art direct a launch, or get deep into typography the next.

What You'll Do

  • Own the day-to-day expression of the brand across marketing, social, content, partnerships, CRM and paid media, partnering with the Executive Creative Director to evolve it.
  • Develop brand systems across typography, color, imagery, graphic language and motion principles, and know when the idea is strong enough to push past them.
  • Lead design projects from brief and concept through final delivery while staying deeply hands-on in the work.
  • Give direction, critique and mentorship to internal designers, contractors and agency partners, and collaborate with Production, Motion, 3D, photographers and illustrators.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing and Growth to turn business needs into creative, and build the templates and toolkits that let the wider org move fast without sacrificing the brand.

What's Required

  • 7+ years of agency and/or in-house brand design, with a portfolio showing exceptional craft and conceptual thinking.
  • Expert command of typography, composition, color, imagery and visual systems.
  • Proven experience building or evolving consumer brands across multiple channels and touchpoints.
  • Ability to move between high-level brand systems and hands-on everyday execution, at speed and across multiple priorities.
  • Highly proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, with comfort across modern creative tools and workflows.

What's Preferred

  • Experience in gaming, sports, entertainment, consumer technology or another culturally relevant consumer category.
  • Experience directing designers, agencies and specialist creative partners.
  • Confidence presenting design thinking, explaining the idea behind the work.
  • Using AI and emerging creative tools to explore and prototype faster without compromising craft.

What's a Bonus

  • Motion, 3D or illustration capability.
  • A designer's designer. You catch the details other people miss, but you never let craft get in the way of the idea.
  • PST based.
