To support our growth, we are seeking a Director, Social Media, to join our team, reporting to the CMO.

The profile of the Director, Social Media, is someone who is highly entrepreneurial and highly adaptable

with excellent marketing instincts, an intuitive creative mind with an eye for creative copy and visuals.

They will have proven success in building Social Media strategies and growing for hyper-growth brands

with little brand awareness. Passionate about the health and wellness space and have their finger on the

pulse of what’s happening in the industry. A can-do, positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves

approach; personable and flexible with demands and changes in business.


What you’ll be doing.


Strategy Development:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
  • Identify target audiences and craft content to resonate with them.


Content Creation and Curation:

  • Develop engaging content for various social media platforms.
  • Curate and share user-generated content.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging.


Platform Management:

  • Manage the organization's presence across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Stay updated on platform changes, trends, and best practices.


Community Building:

  • Foster online communities and engage with followers.
  • Respond to comments and inquiries.
  • Cultivate relationships with influencers and industry professionals.


Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools.
  • Generate regular reports on key metrics and provide insights for improvement.


Social Listening:

  • Monitor social media channels for potential issues or concerns.
  • Develop communication plans to address any issues that arise.


Stay Informed about Industry Trends:

  • Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in the social media landscape.
  • Recommend and implement innovative strategies to stay ahead.


Compliance and Guidelines:

  • Ensure all social media activities comply with legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Establish and enforce social media policies and guidelines for the organization.


Your experience and skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in social media with proven significant growth in follower engagement
  • 2 + years in a leadership / team management role.
  • Building and managing social and influencer marketing programs preferably in the supplement /


CPG / health & wellness space.

  • Proven track record of growing brands’ social media presence and executing successful campaigns that drive both awareness and sales.
  • A deep understanding of our audience's preferences and behaviors, and the ability to connect the two.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a savvy for developing productive relationships with influencers, creators, agencies, and other partners.
  • Resourceful and an excellent problem solver
  • At the crossroads of creativity and data; you're able to analyze data to assess the performance of social media strategies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of social media strategies, platforms, influencer trends, creative practices, while staying consistently updated on platform changes and trends
  • Has the creativity to develop a unique content strategy and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Excellent storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across different teams

The salary range for this position is expected to be around $150,000 - $165,000. This range represents

the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range. The base salary will depend on numerous

factors such as location, experience, qualifications for the role and balancing internal equity.
