Sound Designer (Contract) | On-Air | Remote | Part-Time
Role:
Design and deliver audio assets for on-air graphics packages, including opens, transitions, and lower thirds, for a major streaming platform's live sports broadcasts. Support internal Staff Audio Designers within the Product organization. Establish and maintain a distinct sonic identity for each sporting event property. Build and curate a sound effects library for the On-Air Product live sports team.
Must be available to support live broadcast schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience designing audio for TV, film, games, commercials, or broadcast
- Experience shipping a high-profile project in one of the above mediums
- Deep understanding of sonic branding principles and how audio supports visual identity and viewer experience
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and make confident creative decisions with minimal direction
- Ability to manage a high volume of deliverables under tight turnaround times
- Flexibility to adapt to changing scope and specifications
- Proficiency in Pro Tools for session handoff and delivery
Preferred:
- Experience in live sports broadcast or live event production
