Our client, a Global entertainment company, is seeking a Licensee Marketing Coordinator for our Consumer Products team to help amplify their stories with the fans, extending the impact of our content beyond the screen and delivering fan joy through licensed products and compelling marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
● Assist the team with development and execution of Consumer Products marketing campaigns.
● Own operational workflows around marketing approvals. Review and route high volume of licensee marketing materials to key, cross-functional stakeholders for
alignment (e.g. Content Marketing, PR, Social, showrunners, Legal, etc.)
● Review marketing submissions to ensure creative is fan-first and aligned to title brand guidelines and messaging, visual identity, and campaign goals. Be empowered to provide valuable and constructive feedback to partners to drive creative excellence.
● Centralize information for marketing programs to facilitate cross-functional requests, including, but not limited to, the creation and management of internal project trackers
● Traffic inquiries from internal and external partners, to streamline asset requests.
● Socialize and champion partner marketing ideas with internal cross-functional teams (i.e. Legal, Creative, Strategy, Content Marketing, etc), to seamlessly integrate Consumer Products campaigns into larger content marketing moments.
● Key contributor to status reports/internal trackers and post mortems, marketing recaps, and pitch decks on behalf of the team.
● Monitor and track PO requests and invoice submissions on behalf of the Consumer Products marketing team across different projects and titles.
● Onboard partners, agencies, and vendors into internal systems (i.e. brand asset library, NDAs, vendor profile).
● Manage sample requests and logistics for campaigns, ranging from seeding opportunities to creative production.
Requirements:
● 5+ years of marketing experience in the Consumer Products, Licensing, and/or Retail industries
● Proactive, self-starter attitude and ability to set and manage deadlines independently.
● Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage a high volume of projects simultaneously and meet deadlines across a variety of titles and initiatives, with a strong ability to simplify or break down complex tasks into actionable milestones.
● Ability to gain a deep understanding of and uphold brand guidelines, creative standards, and shape storytelling relevant to each IP.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and visually including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels.
● Collaborative mindset in challenging or ambiguous scenarios; takes on new challenges with a positive attitude.
● Superb attention to detail with strong ability to creatively problem solve.
Nice to Haves or Preferred Skills:
● Entertainment IP-specific licensing experience and retail marketing (in-store signage, POP, e-com) knowledge is a plus.
● Passion for fandoms & storytelling through products
● Basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite to navigate print/digital artwork files
