Our global manufacturer is looking for an experienced Product Manager to own the orthodontic channel and suite of products. The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Orthodontics is responsible for leading the downstream marketing, commercial execution, and go-to-market strategy for our client's orthodontic product portfolio in North America. This role functions as the subject matter expert for the orthodontic sector, ensuring successful product launches, clear market positioning, and consistent adoption within the orthodontic and general dentistry markets.
This position partners cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Clinical Education, Support, and KOL teams to align messaging, drive commercial readiness, and support field execution. The role requires strong strategic thinking combined with operational discipline, ensuring that orthodontic products and workflows are effectively launched, communicated, and utilized in alignment with organizational goals. This is a hybrid role with 3-4 days in the office is expected (located in South Orange County).
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Leadership
- Develop, lead, and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for product releases, enhancements, and workflows.
- Build launch plans including positioning, messaging, segmentation, value propositions, channel strategy, timelines, and launch metrics.
- Coordinate launch readiness across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
Downstream Marketing Execution
- Own downstream marketing for the orthodontics portfolio, including messaging frameworks, content strategy, campaign development, and field enablement.
- Translate product capabilities and clinical workflows into compelling market-facing materials and adoption programs.
- Support and execute integrated marketing campaigns, webinars, promotions, and demand-generation activities to drive utilization.
Business Sector Ownership
- Serve as the commercial lead for the orthodontic segment, with responsibility for portfolio performance, adoption metrics, and revenue impact.
- Analyze market trends, product usage data, segment performance, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and risks.
- Partner with leadership to recommend packaging, pricing input, promotions, and commercial programs that support segment growth.
Voice of Customer & Market Insights
- Conduct ongoing customer research and interviews to understand orthodontic workflows, needs, and barriers to adoption.
- Translate customer and market insights into actionable recommendations for messaging, GTM strategy, and product roadmap discussions.
- Maintain up-to-date competitive intelligence and equip Sales with clear competitive positioning and response guidance.
Sales Enablement
- Develop sales tools including pitch decks, sell sheets, workflow diagrams, FAQs, competitive comparisons, and objection-handling resources.
- Train Sales, Customer Success, and channel partners on product positioning, workflow benefits, differentiators, and launch updates.
- Align with Clinical Education to support consistent messaging in course content, webinars, and training programs.
Product Launch & Lifecycle Support
- Lead the execution of orthodontic product commercialization, ensuring clear internal communication, asset delivery, and field readiness.
- Coordinate the development of supporting materials such as website copy, brochures, videos, email sequences, and KOL content.
- Track launch performance and recommend improvements to drive adoption and customer satisfaction.
KOL & Clinical Collaboration
- Support partnerships with orthodontic KOLs for product feedback, content creation, launch amplification, and case studies.
- Translate clinical insights into customer-ready messaging, assets, and workflow demonstrations.
- Collaborate with internal KOL and Clinical teams on webinars, education programs, and market engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 3–7 years of product marketing experience within dental, orthodontics, medical device, software, or related industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading downstream marketing and go-to-market execution for a product or portfolio.
- Strong ability to translate technical and clinical information into differentiated messaging.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
Preferred
- Experience within orthodontics, aligners, digital dentistry, or dental software strongly preferred.
- Experience working with KOLs, clinical educators, and regional sales teams.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms.
