About the Opportunity

A growing, privately owned dental group in Indiana is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Director of Operations to lead strategy, growth, and team performance across multiple practices.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who understands both people and processes, excels at training and motivating teams, and has a proven ability to drive performance through data, systems, and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor practice managers and treatment coordinators across multiple locations
• Analyze call data and performance metrics to identify weaknesses and opportunities
• Build training systems to improve case acceptance, scheduling, and patient experience
• Partner with ownership to implement operational strategies that support growth and profitability
• Maintain full P&L oversight, managing budgets, expenses, and revenue performance
• Develop and enforce SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency across all offices
• Coach and develop leaders to strengthen accountability, engagement, and decision-making
• Collaborate on new location openings, facility upgrades, and system integrations
• Ensure compliance with state, OSHA, and HIPAA standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multi-site dental operations leadership
• Proven success managing P&L and improving KPI performance across multiple offices
• Strong communication and decision-making skills with the ability to lead through influence
• Experience coaching treatment coordinators and administrative teams
• Analytical mindset with the ability to pull, interpret, and act on operational data
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent operational experience)
