Job Title: Finance Systems Administrator

Job Purpose

The Finance Systems Administrator will play a crucial role in maintaining, supporting, and enhancing financial systems while ensuring data integrity. The role involves coordinating the preparation and distribution of reports to key stakeholders, as well as supporting the development of reporting tools to meet evolving business needs. Key Responsibilities
Finance Systems
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of financial systems, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing timely support to end-users.
- Manage and maintain user access rights.
- Support the Senior Finance Systems Manager with system upgrades, implementations, and integrations.
- Provide training and guidance to finance staff on system functionalities and best practices.
Reporting
- Assist in preparing reports and analysis using financial systems data.
- Develop and maintain a standardised approach to reporting, including structure and formatting.
- Ensure the production of accurate, high-quality reports.
- Coordinate the distribution of standard system reports to key stakeholders.
- Provide ad hoc support to the Group FP&A team as required.
Processes and Governance
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and system procedure manuals.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify and implement process improvements.
Knowledge, Experience, and Competence
- Studied to college or equivalent level.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a systems administrator.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and SQL.
- Familiarity with financial systems and software (e.g., ERP systems, accounting software).
- Experience with financial reporting tools, data analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
