Job Title: Senior HR Manager

Location: North-West, UK

Salary: £60,000 per annum

We are delighted to be supporting our client, a leading organisation within the energy transition sector, in their search for a Senior HR Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a forward-thinking business that is driving the UK’s shift towards clean, sustainable energy.


The Role

As Senior HR Manager, you will take ownership of shaping and delivering the people strategy, partnering with senior stakeholders to influence culture, performance, and engagement across the business. This is a highly strategic role, but one that also requires a hands-on approach to HR leadership and operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic HR guidance on workforce planning, organisational design, and talent development.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and practices that support business growth.
  • Lead on employee engagement initiatives to foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention programmes to build a high-performing workforce.
  • Advise on employee relations, ensuring consistent and fair resolution of issues.
  • Support succession planning, leadership development, and learning initiatives.
  • Provide HR insights and data to support business decisions.


Candidate Profile

Our client is looking for an influential and proactive HR professional who can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day delivery.

  • CIPD-qualified (Level 7 desirable) or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive HR management experience, ideally gained within the green energy sector
  • Strong track record of building relationships and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and experience of organisational change and cultural development.
  • Excellent understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Genuine interest in sustainability and innovation within the energy sector.
