Associate (Level 1)

Investment Banking & Asset Management – Frontier & Emerging Markets

H9 Talent Solutions is working with a leading frontier and emerging markets investment platform to appoint an Associate (Level 1).

This role offers exposure across M&A, capital raising, structured finance, fund deployment and portfolio management within high-impact sectors including clean energy, infrastructure, financial services and ESG investing.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Execution

• Support live M&A, debt and equity capital raises and structured financing transactions.
• Build and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, comparables).
• Assist with valuation analysis, due diligence and transaction documentation.

Client & Investor Support

• Prepare pitchbooks, investor presentations and fundraising materials.
• Participate in client and investor meetings, including multilateral and institutional stakeholders.

Market & Portfolio Analysis

• Conduct sector and macro research across emerging markets.
• Support portfolio monitoring, KPI tracking and investor reporting.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, investment management, corporate finance or strategy consulting.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Highly analytical with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest in emerging markets and sustainable finance.
• CFA Level I/II advantageous.
