Job Summary
H9 Talent Solutions is seeking a Site Manager to support a client on large-scale EPC construction projects. As the Site Manager, you will lead all project field activities and oversee full construction execution. Project scopes may range from $1–3B+ USD with ~500–1,500+ total personnel onsite.
You will be responsible for directing construction operations, including field supervision (craft and professional staff), field engineering, contract administration, project controls (cost and schedule), field procurement, finance, and accounting. Your leadership will ensure safe, compliant, timely, and cost-effective project delivery while maintaining strong client relationships.
This role will also support proposal efforts for upcoming combined cycle power plant projects, with the intention of mobilizing to the field upon project award.
Major Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision
- Manage and direct all construction and related field activities for a major EPC project on behalf of H9 Talent Solutions and its client.
- Serve as the primary client contact for all site operations and communications.
- Oversee total site management, including craft supervision, field engineering, contract administration, project controls, field procurement, finance, and accounting.
- Maintain effective client relationships and ensure alignment between field activities and client expectations.
- Coordinate all contractual activities, including development of scopes, budgets, contract formation, and negotiations with subcontractors and vendors.
- Lead a diverse team of subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive site execution.
Planning
- Oversee jobsite expenditures for labor, equipment, materials, and services, ensuring compliance with project budgets.
- Establish and implement project field procedures and objectives in alignment with corporate policies and jobsite conditions.
- Develop and administer jobsite security plans in coordination with corporate security resources.
Safety & Quality
- Ensure development and execution of key project plans, including:
- Project Automation Plan
- Environmental Compliance Plan
- Health & Safety Plan
- Site Survey Plan
- Non-manual Staffing Plan
- Subcontracting Plan
- Labor Strategy
- Construction Execution Plan
- Jobsite Work Rules
- Establish and enforce procedures to ensure construction activities meet engineering specifications and quality requirements.
- Promote a zero-incident safety culture with proactive risk mitigation.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or international equivalent) and 15+ years of relevant experience; OR 19+ years of professional field experience.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Prior experience delivering a combined cycle power plant and leading project teams as an Area Manager, Area Superintendent, Project Field Superintendent, Site Manager, or equivalent.

10+ years of construction experience in process plant and/or combined cycle power plant projects (preference for 5+ years specific to combined cycle).
- Experience managing projects under union labor / building trades agreements preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high-performing project team.
- Multi-discipline field engineering or field supervision experience (CSA, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of ASME Section I and B31.1.
- Experience implementing Advanced Work Packaging (AWP).
- Experience with project setup, temporary facilities, and system turnover/completion.
- Experience managing full project lifecycle from estimating through delivery is advantageous.
