Overview
The CDM Manager will provide competent and proportionate leadership, assurance, and oversight to ensure full compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 throughout the lifecycle of an Energy-from-Waste construction project. This part-time position supports the team by delivering expert guidance, auditing, and coordination of CDM duties, while improving overall safety, design risk management, and project governance.

Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CDM Manager, Principal Designer Advisor, or CDM Consultant, ideally on large-scale energy, industrial, or process-plant projects (EfW, CCGT, biomass, petrochemical, etc.).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, commissioning, process-plant risks, and multi-contractor interfaces.
- Recognised H&S qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Construction Certificate, NVQ Level 6, or equivalent).
- Membership of IOSH or APS desirable (TechIOSH/MIOSH/APS).
- In-depth knowledge of CDM 2015, construction legislation, and industry standards relevant to high-risk construction environments.
