District Partners has been retained by a private equity–backed, multi-site healthcare services organization undergoing significant expansion to identify a Vice President of Information
Technology. This is a pivotal role for a hands-on, forward-thinking technology leader who thrives at the intersection of operations, care delivery, and business performance.
Reporting to the CFO and working in close partnership with the CEO and executive team, the VP of IT will define and execute the technology roadmap—ensuring systems, infrastructure, and people operate in lockstep with the organization’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate blends strategic vision with tactical execution, providing both leadership presence and technical credibility. What You'll Do:
- Act as both architect and executor of IT strategy. Lead a lean, capable team while staying close to the work—whether optimizing an EMR rollout, managing vendor performance, or ensuring seamless uptime across multiple locations.
- Align IT initiatives with business goals around access, reimbursement, and clinical efficiency. Anticipate operational needs and translate them into scalable, cost-effective technology solutions that support growth and margin.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and Board stakeholders. Bring clarity to complex issues, communicate with precision, and foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
- Lead technology integration across new clinics, acquisitions, and service lines—ensuring each site is equipped with secure, reliable infrastructure and standardized systems to enable consistent patient and staff experiences.

EMR/EHR Leadership: Direct optimization, integration, and adoption of clinical systems supporting outpatient behavioral health and related care environments.

Infrastructure Modernization: Oversee Windows 11 migration, network stability, and multi-site connectivity initiatives.

Unified Communications & Patient Engagement: Advance the use of SMS, telehealth, and scheduling platforms to strengthen patient communication and workflow efficiency.

Enterprise Applications: Manage and enhance performance of SaaS platforms including Salesforce, ADP, and Office 365, ensuring alignment with security and scalability standards.

Cybersecurity, Compliance & Governance: Uphold HIPAA and data privacy requirements, lead incident response planning, and manage vendor relationships with an emphasis on risk management and fiscal discipline.
What You'll Have:
- Proven leadership experience within multi-site healthcare—ideally in outpatient or behavioral health settings
- Demonstrated ownership of EMR/EHR platforms and their integration with clinical and business systems
- Background in private equity–backed or growth-stage environments, with a bias toward action and measurable results
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels
- Balanced leadership style—strategic, transparent, and highly engaged in day-to-day delivery
Location: Montgomery County, MD | Hybrid
Compensation: $170,000–$195,000 base (commensurate with experience)
