District Partners is proud to partner with our client, a respected, mission-based nonprofit healthcare system headquartered in Washington, DC, to identify a high-performing FP&A Analyst. The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling across clinical and operational functions. You’ll partner closely with finance leadership and operational stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.


Our client is looking for someone who combines strong technical FP&A skills with intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in healthcare and nonprofit finance.


What You'll Do:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning initiatives
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models to evaluate operational performance, program expansion, and strategic initiatives
  • Perform variance analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities across departments

Business Partnership & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly management reporting packages for senior finance leadership
  • Partner with operational and clinical leaders to understand financial drivers and support data-driven decisions
  • Develop dashboards and ad-hoc analyses to support executive-level decision making

Data, Systems & Process Improvement

  • Assist in strengthening FP&A processes, tools, and reporting frameworks
  • Support financial system usage and optimization, with exposure to enterprise accounting and planning platforms
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing financial transparency and efficiency


What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a closely related analytical role
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including scenario analysis and forecasting
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations
  • Exposure to Sage Intacct or similar ERP / financial planning systems
  • Experience supporting multi-department or service-line environments
