District Partners is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client's growing finance team and work directly with senior leadership. This is an exciting chance to broaden your skills across accounting, tax, compliance, and operations in a collaborative, small-team environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Own monthly and annual financial reporting for management entities
- Review cash reconciliations, journal entries, and trial balances
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll (via third-party providers)
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses
- Support tax filings, including estimates, returns, K-1s, and 1099s
- Partner with Fund Accounting on capital planning and related processes
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects across finance, compliance, and operations
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure accuracy across all reporting
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2–5 years of corporate or public accounting experience (Big 4 or top firm experience a plus)
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and the accounting close cycle
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
