District Partners has partnered with a client that is launching a high-quality pediatric therapy clinic in Boca Raton focused on delivering exceptional care across occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech services.
We are seeking a Director of Clinical Operations (must be licensed) to lead all clinical aspects of the practice, from initial clinic launch through ongoing delivery of care. This individual will be responsible for building and overseeing the clinical program, therapist team, and standards of care, ensuring the highest level of patient outcomes and compliance. This individual will play a critical role in building the foundation for a multi-site pediatric therapy platform across South Florida.
The Director of Clinical Operations will oversee all clinical functions of the clinic, including:
- Standing up the clinical program prior to patient launch
- Hiring, training, and managing therapists (OT, PT, SLP)
- Establishing clinical protocols, documentation standards, and treatment approaches
- Ensuring high-quality, compliant patient care
- Supporting clinical team development and performance
This role is fully focused on clinical leadership and care delivery, partnering with operational leadership who will handle business functions.
What You'll Do:
Clinical Program Development
- Lead the design and implementation of clinical services across OT, PT, and Speech
- Establish treatment protocols and standards of care
- Develop clinical workflows and documentation guidelines
- Ensure readiness for patient care prior to clinic opening
Clinical Oversight & Quality
- Hire, onboard, and manage therapists across disciplines
- Provide ongoing supervision, mentorship, and performance management
- Maintain appropriate therapist-to-patient ratios and coverage
- Foster a collaborative, patient-centered clinical culture
Quality of Care & Outcomes
- Ensure consistent, high-quality therapy services
- Monitor patient progress and treatment effectiveness
- Implement best practices in pediatric therapy
- Drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes
Compliance & Licensing
- Ensure all clinical services meet state, federal, and payer requirements
- Maintain compliance with licensing boards and regulatory standards
- Oversee proper clinical documentation and treatment plans
- Serve as the responsible licensed provider for the clinic as required
Clinic Launch
- Support hiring and ramp of initial clinical team
- Establish clinical readiness prior to opening
- Partner with operations team to align workflows with care delivery
What You'll Have:
- Active, unrestricted clinical license required (PT, OT, or SLP)
- Ability to be licensed in Florida (if not already)
- 5+ years of experience in pediatric therapy (outpatient preferred)
- Prior experience supervising or leading clinical teams
- Experience hiring and developing therapists
- Strong knowledge of clinical documentation and compliance standards
- Experience in a startup or clinic launch environment strongly preferred
