VP, Corporate Controller

District Partners has partnered with a growing organization looking to add a Corporate Controller to lead its accounting function during a period of continued scale and complexity. This role will oversee financial reporting, controls, and team development, while partnering closely with senior leaders across the business.


This opportunity is best suited for a hands-on accounting leader who is comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment and balancing technical rigor with practical execution.


What You’ll Do:

  • End-to-end accounting operations across multiple entities
  • External financial reporting and compliance with applicable standards
  • Monthly and quarterly close, consolidation, and management reporting
  • Development and maintenance of accounting policies and operating processes
  • Oversight of accounting related to inventory, production activities, and fixed assets
  • Coordination with external auditors and internal stakeholders
  • Assessment and adoption of new accounting standards and requirements
  • Leadership on complex or judgment-based accounting matters
  • Building and leading a strong, scalable accounting team
  • Ongoing process improvements to support growth and efficiency


What You’ll Have:

  • Degree in Accounting with professional certification required
  • Extensive progressive experience in accounting, including leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge and experience of public company (SEC) reporting and internal controls (SOX)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with senior leadership
  • Background in product-based or operational environments preferred
  • ERP system experience required
  • Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive results
