District Partners has been engaged by one of the fastest-growing wealth management firms in the country in their search for a Regional Planning Consultant. The Regional Planning Consultant will the join the firm's growing Financial Planning & Advisor Development team and is a great opportunity for someone with a strong financial planning foundation (and CFP) who is energized by coaching, developing, and helping advisors become more successful.

 

This role is fully-remote (or hybrid if candidates are near one of the office locations). Approximately 20% of travel is required.

 

What You'll be Owning:

  • Training Facilitation: Conduct training sessions over video conference and at various branch offices to educate the advisor team on training initiatives, including practice management, financial planning, growth strategies, and plan implementation
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and interactive activities, to ensure comprehensive understanding of financial planning strategies leading to improved organic growth rates
  • Needs Assessment: Collaborate with market leaders to perform skills gap analyses to identify training needs and tailor programs accordingly
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with leadership team to understand regional challenges and customize training to address specific needs
  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from attendees to continuously improve training content and delivery methods
  • Reporting: Determine KPI’s and prepare detailed reports on training outcomes, effectiveness, and regional planning implementation progress
  • Relationship Management: Develop strong working relationships and partnerships with advisors to drive priorities and key initiatives

 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree and CFP®
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in financial services, with an emphasis on the RIA business
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High degree of professionalism in performing all duties
  • Proficiency in eMoney
  • Exceptional skills in coaching and consulting and practice management
  • Expertise in delivering goals-based financial planning, financial planning concepts and strategies, and plan implementation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience designing and delivering training programs
  • Experience with designing skill gap assessments that deliver insights for targeted development opportunities


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with e-learning and virtual training platforms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
